Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds from the seeds, roots, bark, stems, leaves, flowers, and other parts of plants. They have properties in them that protect the plants while growing in their environment. The harsher the environment, the more potent an essential oil is. When we use these oils topically (on the skin), aromatically (diffused or inhaled), and internally (by mouth, such as putting it into your water), we then transfer these protective properties to ourselves. People have experienced pain and stress relief in miraculous ways!
